The Bunad Blankets are based upon the Norwegian traditional folk costumes (bunad). Each blanket relates directly to the color schemes of the corresponding costume. This rich traditional color and pattern has been interpreted into a contemporary classic design.
The Bunad Blanket is designed by Andreas Engesvik who is a highly recognized designer from Norway.

The blankets are produced in Norway, nowadays by Grinakervev. Grinakervev is a weaving company with long tradition located in the beautiful Hadeland region of Norway. The blankets/throws/cushions were also woven at Mandal Veveri.

Special care should be taken to avoid contact with any objects that may cause damage to the product, such as rings, bracelets, buckles etc.
If a thread from the blanket or the cushion comes loose, either pull the thread out or carefully cut it off. The woven blanket will not unravel from this.
